Search the internet for information on Hell and you'll find a huge number of websites which exist for the sole purpose of warning you about the reality of this place. You'll find sites purporting to prove Hell's existence by quoting Bible verses and theologians, posting testimonies from people who claim to have been there and returned, and some even linking to the much discredited and ridiculous recording supposedly of people screaming in Hell. It's all shameful nonsense. The doctrine of eternal torment in Hell is a hoax. It is the result of pagan mythology, poor translation of the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts from which we get our modern English Bibles, 1700 years of tradition in the Christian church and misguided interpretations. It's an evil delusion that infects all of institutional orthodox Christendom and denies the love, mercy and purposes of Almighty God the Father and diminishes the redemptive work on the cross by Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
You might be relieved to learn why I say with confidence this doctrine is a hoax. Or you may be outraged that one would make such a heretical claim and you'll be quick to condemn me to your fabled Hell. (Out of "love" I suppose.) Which ever camp you fall into this site is for you. If you dare, challenge yourself to know the truth of God's word and His purposes and ultimate plan for all humanity. Then please read the articles and visit the sites listed here with an open mind and learn for yourself.
The scriptures declare that our God is a God of love, mercy and righteousness. Therefore ALL of His works must fulfill what is His very nature. The Christian concept of Hell does not fulfill or reveal God's true nature. It makes Him out to be an evil, illogical and vicious monster. He is no such thing.
Many who defend this unscriptural, pagan doctrine will insist that, though they don't like the idea that anyone will spend eternity in Hell, God's justice demands and the Bible declares it and so it is true. The Focus on the Family website, for example, in defending this doctrine proudly quotes celebrated author, C.S. Lewis, who, speaking of Hell, said, There is no doctrine which I would more willingly remove from Christianity than this, if it lay in my power. They go on to admit, hell is not a pleasant topic to address. Such sentiments are not unusual. In fact, you may have even thought something along the very same lines. Maybe like C.S. Lewis you wish Hell wasn't true. If so, here's something to think about...
In 1Chronicles 16:9; 16:24; Psalms 73:28; 96:3; 103:22; 104:24; 105:2; 111:2; 145:10; 145:13; & 145:17, we have scriptures declaring that ALL of the works of God are worthy to be praised. Yes, ALL of His works; which would include Hell if it were true. If we are to praise and delight in ALL OF GOD'S WORKS, as scripture declares, why do so many well meaning and sincere believers express shame and regret with this doctrine describing it as an "unpleasant topic"? If it truly is a work of God, then it is truly worthy to be praised; and no one should be repulsed by it, embarrassed by it or say they would prefer to remove this doctrine if they could! So, what to do? Do you instead praise God for this doctrine and take delight in the idea that most of the world's inhabitants are headed for eternity in Hell? Does that make you happy? Do you "delight", as the Psalmist says in this alleged work of God? I would hope not. Think about that for moment and maybe you'll see that this is your first clue that there is something terribly amiss with this doctrine.
While the traditional view insists that God's righteousness demands justice, it is most certainly true that God took responsibility for that justice Himself by making His only Son, Jesus Christ, a sin offering to be sacrificed for the atonement for sin. And not just for some, but for the sin of the whole world. The penalty for sin has been paid once and for all. God's judgment therefore has a holy and righteous purpose that is not to torture endlessly, but to redeem and reconcile. God's judgments rather compliment and fulfill His nature of love and mercy and will bring righteousness to the whole world; in His due time. You'll find the scriptural basis for this conclusion among the articles linked here.
